I build fortresses with these fingers

Taking down kingdoms with my words

I have a carnival inside me

Never at a standstill

There isn't enough darkness in the world to dim the flame that burns inside me

No anchor heavy enough to weigh me down

I have thunder on my skin and lightning in my bones

My body is not less pure because of the hands that have touched it
