Sukhmani Malhi is a media and communications graduate from Pune, Maharashtra who has always been invested in topics of political and social importance. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Christ University, Bangalore majoring in Communication and Media Studies, Psychology, and English Literature and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Media and Communication from Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication, Pune.

 

As a young woman in the field of media, she wishes to become a change-maker and an activist. She has a passion for reading, writing, graphic design as well as for subjects like history, politics, and cultural studies. She loves to spend her time watching documentaries, reading fantasy novels, and traveling. She is inclined towards social causes and human rights and has been an advocate for equality of gender, caste, religion, and sexual orientation since her early teen years. She enjoys critically engaging with popular culture and media and questioning the status quo.
